Terms of Service

These terms apply to anyone who creates an account, registers a server, or installs the Player Analytics plugin. By doing any of these, you agree to them. Last updated: October 5, 2026.

The beta

Player Analytics is in a free closed beta. During the beta:

• Access is by invitation, and we can end an organization's beta access at any time.
• Features, limits, and data formats may change without notice. We try not to lose data, but we do not guarantee it.
• There is no uptime guarantee or support response time.
• Beta access does not turn into a paid plan automatically. Before any charge, we will tell you the price and you will choose whether to subscribe.

Your account and team

• You sign in with Steam and Discord, and you are responsible for activity under your account.
• The owner of an organization controls who joins it and which pages each member can see. Owners are responsible for their team's use of the data.
• Keep each server's API key secret. If it leaks, contact us and we will issue a new one.

Your responsibilities as a server owner

• Only install the plugin on servers you own or are authorized to administer.
• Tell your players. Post the Player Notice below, or equivalent wording, where players will see it before or when they join (server description, MOTD, or rules), and link to our Privacy Policy.
• Follow the laws that apply to you and your players, and Facepunch's rules for Rust servers.
• Use the data only to run, moderate, and improve your server. Do not use it to harass, threaten, or expose anyone, and do not publish players' IP addresses, locations, or private messages.
• Forward player requests about their data to us at yakidzoba@gmail.com. We will handle deletion across the service.

Things you may not do

• Send false or fabricated data to the API, or modify the plugin to do so.
• Attempt to access other organizations' data, overload the service, or bypass its limits.
• Resell, redistribute, or publish data from the service, except your own server's statistics shown without players' personal details.
• Reverse engineer the service, except as the law permits.

Data ownership

Your server's data stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the service, and to include it, anonymized, in aggregate totals across all servers (for example, "total players tracked"). Those totals never identify a player or server.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the plugin. To have your organization's data deleted, email us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, especially during the beta. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or lost revenue. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, which during the free beta is $0.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell owners on the dashboard or by email, and continued use means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA.

Player Notice

Server owners post one of these where players see it before or when they join.

Full version (server description, website, or Discord rules):

This server uses Player Analytics to help us run and moderate it. While you play, it records your Steam ID, name, IP address and approximate location, play sessions, gameplay events (such as kills, gathering, looting, and building), and chat messages and commands. Our staff use this to manage the server. To learn more, or to request a copy or deletion of your data, see playeranalytics.gg/privacy.
